About this Species

Morpho zephyritis is a moderately large and exceptionally beautiful Morpho. Its wings have a softer blue hue than the rhetenor group, often with a shimmering silver quality that makes it appear to glow when in flight.

Habitat

Inhabits the eastern slopes of the Andes and northern Amazonian lowlands.
