About this Species
Morpho sulkowskyi is a high-altitude marvel. Its wings are almost translucent and exhibit a breathtaking holographic iridescence that shifts from white to deep violet and blue. It is widely considered one of the most ethereal butterflies in Peru.
Habitat
Strictly limited to the cloud forests of the Andes at elevations between 2000m and 3000m.
