About this Species

This species is characterized by its primarily black wings with broad, diagonally arranged creamy-yellow bands on both the fore and hindwings. It exhibits the classic swallowtail tails that define this group. Its appearance is a very clean and symmetrical design that makes it a favorite in many scientific and aesthetic collections.
