About this Species
Siproeta epaphus is a close relative of the Malachite. It stands out for its deep velvet-brown wings and bright cream bands, topped with distinctive orange-rusty tips on the forewings.
Habitat
Widespread from Mexico to Peru, often seen feeding on Lantana flowers in sunny areas.
