About this Species
Archaeoprepona licomedes is a robust butterfly found in various parts of South America, especially in the Amazon. It features a beautiful light blue-green iridescent band over its dark wings, which serves to baffle predators as it flies rapidly.
Habitat
Tropical rainforests and humid environments in the Loreto and San Martín regions.
