About this Species
Hamadryas laodamia is often called the Starry Night or Velvet Cracker. Its deep coloration and brilliant spots provide excellent camouflage in the dappled light of the forest understory.
Habitat
Interior of humid rainforests, usually sitting high on tree trunks.
