About this Species
Evenus regalis is often considered the most beautiful of all hairstreaks. Its wings display a brilliant mixture of iridescent green, purple, and blue that shifts with the light. Its long, elegant tails add to its regal appearance.
Habitat
Primary rainforest canopy, very difficult to capture and rarely seen near the ground.
