About this Species

Chorinea sylphina is a marvel of nature. Its wings are almost entirely transparent, with thin black borders and spectacular iridescent pink and blue tails that create a magical appearance as it flies through the undergrowth.

Habitat

Widespread across the humid forests of Peru, usually seen in the forest interior.
