About this Species

Siderone galanthis is another master of leaf mimicry. Its dorsal side features intense scarlet red bands, but when it closes its wings, it looks exactly like a brown, pointed leaf.

Habitat

Primary forests and humid environments in the Loreto and San Martín regions.
