About this Species
Callicore cajetani is distinguished by the subtle purple sheen on its otherwise dark dorsal wings. Its underside numerals are often framed by bright blue rings, a hallmark of the premium Callicore species found in Peru.
Habitat
Restricted to undisturbed forest fragments in central and southern Peru.
